By entering this Competition and/or accepting any prize, all participants, entrants and winners agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below applicable to this Competition (“Rules”) run by Alliance Foods (Pty) Limited t/a KFC Eswatini (Pty) Ltd (“The Promoter”).

1. Eligible Entrant 

​

a) The “Win for Mom” competition is open to all Eswatini citizens & residents who are in possession of a valid identity document / birth certificate / passport / valid legal permit ; except directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter or marketing service providers in respect of the promotional competition, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, or anyone who within a period of 183 days preceding this competition has won any competition organized, promoted, or conducted by the Promoter, or who resides at the same address as such a winner, or who uses the same telephone number to enter this competition. 

b) Entrants who are under the age of 18 require the consent of parent or guardian to participate and/or claim any prize. 

c) The Entrant undertakes to abide by the Special Rules pertaining to the Competition, as stipulated in clause 5 (Special Rules pertaining to the Competition), failing which, the winner shall forfeit the prize on the grounds of ineligibility, 

 

2. Competition Period: 

​

a) The “Win for Mom” Competition will begin at 11:00 on 4th may 2021 and will end at 23:59 on 25th May (“Competition Period”). No late entries will be accepted after the Competition Period. 

 

3. How to Enter: 

​

a) To enter the “Win for Mom” Competition, entrant needs to purchase the May KFC Tuesday Special (6 for 69) from any KFC Eswatini outlet during the competition period ,Winners will be required to present their KFC Slip to prove purchase of the May KFC Tuesday Special (6 for 69) before receiving the prize. 

b) The Entrant must Comment on the Facebook “Win for Mom” Competition post with a picture of their Mom enjoying the May KFC Tuesday Special (6 for 69) Moment and making use of #KFCEswatini in the post. 

c) Entrants will be randomly selected by software and contacted via direct message notification on Facebook within 2 days after closing of the competition period. 

 

4. Prize for the “Win for Mom” Competition 

 

 The Promoter is offering entrants the chance to win ; 

a) 1 X Cash Prize of E1500,00 (one thousand five hundred Emalangeni) 

b) 1 of 10 Streetwise 2 Meal Vouchers. 

 

5. Special Rules pertaining to the Competition. 

​

a) Winners under the age of 18 years will require the permission from their parent or guardian to enter and will also need to be accompanied by a guardian/ parent to redeem the prize. 

b) Winners will be required to make themselves available to receive their prize. 

c) Winners will be required to confirm their availability no more than 1 day (24 hours) after they have received communication of winning the prize. 

d) Winners will be required to present their KFC Slip to prove purchase of the May KFC Tuesday Special (6 for 69) before receiving the prize. 

e) If the potential winner does not respond to the direct notification message on Facebook within 4 days , the Promoter will move on to the next potential winner on the database. 

f) The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash (unless otherwise indicated). The prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. The prizes cannot be used or redeemed in conjunction with any other offer. 

 

6. General Terms. 

​

a) No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 

b) The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. 

c) The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 

d) Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. 

e) The Meal Voucher Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash The prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. The Meal Voucher prizes cannot be used or redeemed in conjunction with any other offer. The Meal voucher is valid until three months from the date of issuance, and can be redeemed at any KFC Eswatini Store. No replacement will be provided if the Meal Voucher is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed. 

f) The Cash Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. No refund or replacement prize will be provided if the Cash Prize is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed. 

g) Winners will be chosen: at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents. 

h) If the winner cannot be contacted within 4 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 

i) The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered. 

j) The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

k) By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

l) The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Eswatini 

m) The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Eswatini data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 

n) The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: Eswatinicustomercare@KFC.co.sz 

o) Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

p) This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Alliance Foods (Pty) Limited t/a KFC Eswatini (Pty) Ltd and not to any other party. 

q) All entrants indemnify the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, suppliers, and nominated agents against any and all claims resulting from their participation in this Competition arising from negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter 

r) The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Competition or downloading any materials in this Competition
